Kathryn has been a Nevada licensed broker for over 20 years successfully working in all areas of real estate including residential, commercial, foreclosures (REO) and short sales.  She has been an award-winning individual real estate agent, owner of her own commercial real estate firm and most recently, the broker- manager of one of the top producing Prudential offices in the country.  She is an expert in the marketing and negotiating of all aspects of real estate.

Kathryn Bovard is currently the managing Broker of the Sahara Branch of Prudential Americana Group, Realtors, the largest real estate firm in the state of Nevada.  She leads more than 400 real estate sales executives, and her office is regularly recognized locally and across North America for its top sales, placing second top producing office in the country for 2008.

Kathryn enjoys coaching real estate agents in business and real estate systems, increasing productivity, exit strategy and team building. She has more than 20 years experience in the Las Vegas real estate industry, including top-producing sales, management and owning her own brokerage firm. She currently is licensed to teach continuing education classes through the Nevada Real Estate Commission in broker management, real estate blogging, contracts, agency and ethics/law.

Kathryn is a Certified Short-Sale Professional (CSP), Risk Reduction Graduate (RRG), Certified Mediator, and a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA).  She was also acknowledged in this year’s “In Business 2009 Who’s Who in Real Estate.”

Certified Short-Sale Professional Designation – CSP real estate professionals are expert facilitators of the short-sale transaction – from beginning to end.  Those agents that have earned the CSP Designation recognize the impact that a short-sale can have on the sale of a home and have been prepared to provide that value added service for their clients.

Stephanie Serra brings a unique set of skills to complement the “technology” focus of The Serra Group.  Before she chose to become a REALTOR® seven years ago, Stephanie combined her hard earned degrees in Electrical Engineering and Environmental Science as a University of Denver Honor Scholar with 8 years of hard core corporate experience which included time with General Electric Company.

Over the past 3 years Stephanie’s main specialty is representing individual clients and REO accounts requiring special knowledge and skills sets related to Short Sales and Foreclosures.

Stephanie believes her success in real estate and life comes from her constant quest for education and desire to genuinely help others. Her commitment to continuous professional development is demonstrated by earning several respected industry designations such as Risk Reduction Graduate™ (RRG™), Certified Residential Specialist® (CRS®), Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI), Accredited Buyer’s Representative® (ABR®), Senior Real Estate Specialist® (SRES®), and Transnational Referral Certificate (TRC).  Her involvement in the professional community includes serving on the Greater Las Vegas Association of REALTORS® Risk Reduction Committee for 2 years and the Forms Committee for almost 5 years.  As time permits, Stephanie volunteers her time by teaching First Time Homebuyer classes with local non-profits. Outside of real estate you may run into Stephanie volunteering as an EMT/First Responder at community events as she is stopping a nose bleed for a sleeping 3 year old or persuading a stubborn cowboy to go to the emergency room after getting kicked in the head by a bucking bull.

Her passion to educate and be educated is the inspiration for writing her Realty Access and this Residential Short Sale blog. It is her outlet for candid commentary and everyday observations about real estate and Las Vegas.
